[CALIBK12] Library Improvement Project

Library Improvement Project:  Sweetwater Union High School District has a new superintendent who is very interested in improving the libraries in the district.  We conducted a survey of our district libraries and compiled data about technology, facilities, personnel and library collections.  He would like us come up with a three year plan to improve library collections and technology.  We are using the Standards and Guidelines for Strong School Libraries as our guide and aiming at improving from 10 books per student district wide to 15 books per student.  Is there a magic formula for figuring out how much funding that would involve?  All he wants is a dollar figure.  

We are very excited about this possibility of improving our libraries and we want to get him this information as soon as possible.
