[CALIBK12] Family Reading Night for middle school

I am in the process of planning a Family Reading Night with a colleague for our libraries.  I have attended Family Reading Nights at the elementary level.  Have any of you that work at the secondary level planned and presented a Family Reading Night?  I have a few ideas but would love to hear what went well and what we should avoid from those of you who already have experienced planning such an evening.  I will share all ideas that come my way in case other secondary LMTs are considering such an event.
