Several countries outperform U.S. in math, scienceTeenage students in
several other developed countries have a better understanding of math
and science than students in the U.S., according to new results from
the 2006 Program for International Student Assessment, released
today. "It's a sad state to be in," said Gerald F. Wheeler, executive
