Elena,
I tried a form of on-line class scheduling about a year ago. I used a simple shared calendar - the format is not important.
What became the major issue for me was teachers stopped coming to my office and collaborating with me on planning the lesson. It was too easy for them to simply go on-line and sign-up for library time at the last minute. It also became an avenue for convenient last minute substitute plans.
Just some thoughts to be considered.

Subject: [CALIBK12] library sign in calendar
Hi, I have had several requests from teachers to have an online sign in for scheduling classes in the library. I am wondering if anyone has figured out the best way to do this. I considered Google calendar but it seems hard to share and allow editing. I looked at Microsoft Outlook but can't figure out how to use periods instead of time. I tried pbwiki and that may work but I am new to the program. I made a table and it didn't fit on the page. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
