[CALIBK12] Folletbound prebinds

Wow Megan, I have NEVER had this happen, and I have been at two different
sites with Follettbound - one with air conditioning and one without. I do
prefer their sewn prebinds and try to avoid the glued if possible. Can't say
I've had kids complain about the books being too tight (sewing from margin)
either. Maybe it's because I'm at an elementary and those books have deeper
margins vs. books for middle school ages? Do they? I wonder. I also like the
BTSB covers but so many of them come with white bindings which require far
more cleaning, but I think look much nicer (wider, easier to read spines) on
the shelf than other prebinds.

I am not sure about other peoples experience, but I find that the lamination
on the Follett bound covers lifts, pretty quickly.  Often the Follettbound
sewn bindings are too tight and far into the margin, making them difficult
to read.  I prefer Perma-bound for rebind, but I still purchase FBG.

The stories in the Orca soundings books have been very popular at my school.

Has anyone ordered directly from them?  Follett's Titlewave has them
available in "Follett Bound Glued".  Does anyone have experience with
Follett Bound?  Are you satisfied/unsatisfied?
