[CALIBK12] Need LMT Interview Questions

Hi! I am currently going over Library Media Technician
(LMT) resumes for a F/T position that I am trying
fill, and begins August 29th. I will starting
interviewing qualified candidates next week. Does
anyone have a list of questions that you would use
during an LMT interview? I have had four part-time
LMT's in the past, but they were interviewed by
administration to fill P/T Kindergarten Aide positions
(they cobbled together a F/T spot between the library
and kindergarten). This is the first time I will have
a full-time LMT, so I want to do this right. 

Also, here's another question that's looming over my
head: what makes someone qualified? I have been
fortunate that the majority of the applicants have
completed a Library Technology Program, but I have
three applicants that are studying for their MLIS.
Have any of you had an LMT studying for a MLIS, and
what were the results? I'm afraid of hiring someone
that's overqualified and may not be satisfied being an
LMT, and I really need an LMT that will be here longer
than a year. The upside is that my former P/T LMT's
moved on to teaching jobs here on campus (we pay 40%
of tuition fees), so there is upward mobility here.
