[CALIBK12] Charter Schools

Dear Calibbers,

I am taking a graduate class and I need to design a model school. The
model school I have chosen to design is a charter school. In my
presentation I must include my mission statement, philosophy of
education and then the nuts and bolts of the school. Things like:
curriculum, organization, staffing, scheduling, technology, financing.

Here is the problem.  Does a charter school receive different financing
than a traditional public school? If anyone has any experience with
charter schools, I would appreciate it if you would respond off line.
