[CALIBK12] HIT: DD-SUCSESS Book Suggestions

 Thanks to everyone who responded--I've attached a summary for anyone
who's interested.  The overwhelming consensus helped reassure me that I
was on the right track in that I need to:

*Meet with and work with the teachers of these classes to tailor the
lessons to the kids' ability.
*Get books with lots of visual support.
*Build in some read aloud time to help model good reading skills...and,
of course, to help the kids enjoy great books!!
