I KNOW this is shameless, but here goes  <G>

Are you about to retire, or just recently retired (or maybe hoping to 
be retired in the not-too-distant-future)?

If so, congratulations!  If you are attending the CSLA Conference in 
Ontario Nov. 15-18, you might be interested in the presentation I am 
giving on consulting after retirement on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 1 pm, 
Room 100.  I'll be covering such things as deciding how much to do, 
assessing your strong points, publicity and marketing yourself, 
contracts, and pricing your services.  Consulting can range all the 
way from an occasional extra day or two helping out in your former 
district to a full time new career.  If you think you might be 
interested in consulting, you owe it to yourself to do some 
investigating before jumping in.  This one hour session (with 
handouts! and time for questions!!) is a good place to begin.
