[CALIBK12] Captain Underpants controversy....

The Captain Underpants censorship controversy is rearing it's ugly head at my school. We have a parent who wants this censored for all Kindergarten kids. While I respect this parent's right not to have her child read this book,  I do take issue with her trying to make it off limits to all the kids.  How do you all deal with the issue when parents  have a problem with this book, are there any articles from librarians on the web that I could gently recommend she read. Thanks all...
