Hi Folks!
I am putting together a list of 20 books for a teacher's outside reading assignment for his 10th grade students.  He's looking for contemporary novels of at least 200 pages that aren't too edgy.  I can think of several, but the challenge comes in only having 20!! 
 
I am curious what novels you think should be those absolute 'must haves' on that list?   If you want to reply directly to me I will post the suggestions later on calib!
