It was a wonderful conference -- I learned so much. I
loved meeting people and sharing ideas. I also
presented for the first time, during two of the
concurrent sessions. It was a little scary, but
everyone was so supportive and encouraging that I
definitely want to do it again next year!
I put my PowerPoints and handouts, plus more
resources, on web pages for anyone who was unable to
attend, or those who attended and need more
information:
Friday's presentation, Web Site 2.0 --
http://libraryweb.weebly.com
This site has my PowerPoint presentation, handouts,
and six sets of step-by-step instructions for the easy
Web 2.0 ideas you can incorporate into your library
web site (Flickr badges, del.icio.us links, blogs,
polls, and more).
Saturday's presentation, Urban Fiction and Teens:
http://www.teenlibrarian.com/streetlit
This site has my PowerPoint presentation, handout,
booklists, and resources and articles. There is
information on urban fiction/street lit for adults and
possibly high school libraries as well as some
"middle-school friendly" alternatives.
Thanks for making my first CSLA conference so
rewarding!
