Hello Calibbers:
If you are using a free email service it may be turning your emails into
something Calib sees as spam. This will prevent many subscribers from
getting your mail. (see note below from a tech person at a school.)
Yahoo, Hotmail, and gmail seem to work most of the time, but incredimail
has problems.
Also please send messages to CALIB only, not to other addresses at the
same time. Some messages are rejected, especially if they have addresses
in the Bcc area.
Finally, it is a good idea to shorten responses that include many
previous emails, such as threads about ongoing discussions. Too long
messages will be rejected. You can delete messages below the particular
one you are responding to, and always delete advertising in messages or
your message will be treated like theirs is.

FYI
I found this thread on a fired LMT in the spam quarantine folder.
Unfortunately, the originator of the thread did not use plain text, but
used a home PC with Incredimail. Incredimail creates inline images and
adds advertising to the bottom of each message. Inline images are used
by spammers, and email advertising is blocked. This is a problem of the
CALIBK12 email list for not stripping out "personalized" characteristics
from submissions, and lack of Internet email training of the sender.
All subsequent messages in the thread that did not strip out the
original message will get blocked.
The Library email list is white-listed, but some messages still get
blocked when they look like spam.
