I wrote this last week but for some raeason it did not go through. The
sentiment is still there, and so ...

I wanted to pass along my thanks to Deb Stanley and her 'red shirt'
committee. As usual, even though I'm older than dirt, I always get
renewed and re-energized when I attend the state conference. This time
I'm going to participate in Library 2.0 [now I'm into the modern world
with high speed access at home], I'll buy some of those silly gross
books for boys I heard about, I'll tackle the new AASL standards and see
how I can make the changes in my program, and I'll give poetry another
chance.
 
Sandra Yoon, you had an extraordinary start to your year as President.
The conference was spectacular and the kudos you received from your home
district were well deserved.
 
Thanks also to / for:

*	Carol, Bob, Linda and everyone else who worked behind the scenes
to keep things going
*	our WONDERFUL VENDORS who help us survive 
*	my annual fill-up of hugs 

I got the opportunity to meet and spend time with some newbies
[including 'the boys'] and I know our organization will be in good hands
for years to come.

Now comes the hard part -- incorporating all of the Good Ideas.
