Sarah,
At my last school, we had several laptop carts. My word of advice is buy Macs. The warranty covers replacement for 3 years, I believe. The school had one PC cart and when a computer had a problem it was never fixed quickly. Apple replaced broken laptops in a timely manner. The Apple warranty decided the fate of the rest of our purchases. (Most of our other computers were PCs too).

Subject: [CALIBK12] Laptop Carts
We have several laptop carts (meaning carts of a class set of laptops with printer and wireless hub) on campus that are quickly aging. Since I only have 12 student computers, I have considered buying one for the library but never wasn't sure about their durability. We are a primarliy PC school. Do you have any advice on buying/using a laptop cart like this?
How long do they generally last?
Do you check them out to students individually as well as use them as class set?
Any advice would be appreciated.
