[CALIBK12] Do you have a "tree" in your library?

FYI: As a parent, I was impressed with my son's elementary school
library because it was so inviting -- it had a large "tree" in the
center, disguising a big support pillar. Twenty years later, it is
still there and still inviting.
Check out examples at

This is a California company -- they'd make a good exhibitor at CSLA
conference.

We're planning to install a "tree" in our new Main Lib. currently under
construction. The tree will be located at the entry to the children's
department. We're working with Nature Maker (they also installed one at
the Cerritos P.L.). Check out their site:

San Mateo County Library is working on a new green building that is in a
very natural setting. We have discussed having a tree feature in the
library and would like to show the architects and designers examples of
trees used as a feature in Children's rooms. If you have a tree in
your children's room would you please send a picture of it? Thanks in
advance
