Hi all,
With this many people with furniture to show, as Carol says, ALL IN ONE
SPOT! not worry with scheduling a representative call at your school when
s/he would only have pictures, what it looks like to me is an excellent
excuse to get your principal to come for the day to go to the exhibits and
attend one or two of those activities that s/he shouldn't miss.
And, if you haven't asked to attend CSLA, why not stroll into the
principal's office today and say, "Harry/Mary, the California School
Library Association in November is a 'can't miss' opportunity for us to
find out the latest in technology to help our students learn, the greatest
new publications for our teachers and students, and the absolutely best
way ever to find out what others are doing that we might want to do. It is
also the place where I can tell everyone how great my program is and to
introduce you, who helps me make it possible."
Now, if you don't have the best principal in the world, and your face is
not a good poker face, you might want to wait until tomorrow and practice
your sentence in front of a mirror or an audience tonight.
It is for sure that you have to ask if you want it to happen.
Blanche
