[CALIBK12] Fwd: Please accept [CTA] apology

Not to beat a dead horse but our issue of California Educator arrived today
(I live in a bi-unional household) and I noticed one other nit to pick with
the editor. Dana Dillon in the article announcing her election as the head
of CalSTRS is referred to as a school librarian rather than the more correct
library media teacher. One would think that the largest teacher's union
would get it right.
I also note that the local for Weed is called the Weed Classroom Teachers
Association!? I know, I know--a lot of us refer to our libraries as
classrooms--but really. Does the local exclude counselors and other
non-traditional teachers from its membership? I doubt it.
On the other hand, stranger things have happened.
