[CALIBK12] MARC records for AV sources

Another source to try is http://www.worldcat.org/. I was able to find
records for several of our somewhat "off-the-wall" dance CDs.

To actually see a MARC record, you will have to click on the libraries
that own that material - most (but not all) libraries do have a MARC
display available. Some libraries will even let you download the MARC
record.

Re MARC records for AV sources.

You will not be able to download them from this site, but at
http://calcat.org/ I have been able to find records for Spanish language
materials, videos etc. Best part is I don't have to identify the
producer myself, it's there on the record.

http://calcat.org/ is paid for by the State Library of California, I
believe, for ALL libraries in the state. To log in, just type in your
school address and go.

I usually search by advanced and can make all my selections in the limit
boxes.

SUNLINK, the Florida state library K-12 union catalog, used to have MARC
records we could access, but on a cursory glance at the website just
now, I couldn't see it - great new other things though.
http://www.sunlink.ucf.edu/default.html

Just dug deeper -- http://www.flelibrary.org/index.cfm -- try the guest
version.

Good luck.
