Studies link sleep deficits, student performanceSleep-deprived students
fare far worse academically and emotionally than students who get
adequate sleep. MRI scans show that a lack of sleep inhibits the body's
ability to refuel itself. Some districts have tried to encourage
students to get more sleep by starting school later in the
