[CALIBK12] looking for book on Columbus, lower elementary

Dear Callib,
A teacher asked me for some books on Christopher Columbus last week, in particular books that present a "balanced" view or other perspectives on Columbus's legacy. He was particularly looking for a picture book for K-3. I found a few things for him, but the most detailed information was for older students. National Geographic has those nice books that offer A New Look at Thanksgiving, etc. but I didn't see anything similar for Columbus.

Does anyone have any particular favorites on Columbus so I can be prepared next year?!
