I am sending this on behalf of another LMT who is a CALIB member but
can't post right now.

Long Beach School Librarians are organizing a voluntary Book Cart Drill
Team to promote literacy in the Belmont Shore Christmas Parade. We are
opening it to local calibers who are employed in local area libraries
and students of library science.
An organizational meeting will be held this coming Monday, October 29,
at Lakewood High School (at Briercrest and Centrailia in Lakewood) at
4:00. This is going to be a lot of fun!!! See attached flyer.

In literature as in love, we are astonished at what is chosen by
others.--Andre Maurois

Books invite all; they constrain none.--Inscription at the Los Angeles

"Wicked people never have time for reading," Dewey said. "It's one of
the reasons for their wickedness."
