[CALIBK12] Special/Regular Ed. Collaboration Resources

[Daydream Queen]

Along with many others in the state, our district is mainstreaming
some Special Ed. students into mainstream classrooms. Regular Ed
teachers and "team teaching" with Special Ed teachers and I've found
that some are seeking guidance on how to do this effectively since
there hasn't been much professional development in that area at our
site. I'm looking for any resources that might provide ideas for
structuring a classroom environment that has two teachers and this
mixture of students. The teachers have been discouraged from using the
other teacher as an "aide" but to share teaching responsibilities
equally. I'm sure much of this has to do with how the teachers want to
do it but I'd love to provide some resources (web, book, or otherwise)
