[CALIBK12] Query: Magazines for Middle School

Good afternoon CALIBers,

 

I know this has been discussed before, but I could not find a thread on
it in the archives.

Would anyone be willing to share their thoughts on appropriate magazines
for a middle school setting? I have a population reading levels of 0 (Sp
Ed - enjoy looking at pictures) to adult (GATE students)

 

I currently have subscriptions for Discover, Girl's Life, Kid's
Discovery, Mental Floss, Muse, Popular Science, Sports Illustrated (w/o
swimsuit issue), Time, US News & World Report. 

 

I am thinking of adding BMX Plus, Discovery Girls, Nat'l Geographic for
Kids, Nick Magazine, and OWL.

 

Do you have any ideas for other appropriate magazines and or comments on
the above listed ones?
