[CALIBK12] Madeleine L'Engle

I've been writing grammar warmups for my kids and every now and again Calvin
comes up in them, usually with a mention of tesseracting. Yesterday, one of
my kids finally asked what it was (it's come up at least three times) and I
told them it was from A Wrinkle in Time, to which one student mentioned she
read that in 8th grade but thought it was confusing and therefore didn't
like it. I told her to try it again, because it's my favorite book (and
mentioned anyone else who didn't like that book might need to be concerned
about his or her chances of passing the class! hahaha). I haven't read
*every*thing by her, but darn near close.

Any others?

       Madeleine L'Engle Camp Franklin, 88, of Goshen, CT and New York City,
died Thursday, September 6th. Born November 29, 1918, in New York City, to
Charles Camp and Madeleine Barnett Camp, she was educated in Switzerland and
South Carolina, before graduating from Smith College. She was the author of
over 60 books, including the award-winning A Wrinkle in Time.
