[CALIBK12] History-Social Science Literature List

On the 15th of October I will be going to Sacramento to participate in the first meeting of the group that is going to compile a History-Social Science Literature List.  The goal is to come up with suggested readings to match the History-Social Science standards. 
 
I have a list of several books I would like to see but I thought I would solicit your fantastic input.  If you have a title that deals with the eras and ideas covered in the History-Social Science Standards, please send me the title and author.  
 
This is a great opportunity for California School professionals to have input on this literature list.
