Cross-posted to LM_NET and CALIB listserves: Just spotted this on my local congressman’s “E-update”: Ø      September 29: National Book DayFirst lady, Laura Bush will host the 2007 National Book Festival, sponsored by the Library of Congress.  This year's festival will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007 on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. between 7th and 14th streets N.W.  The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. and it is free and open to the public.  Nationally known poets and authors will convene on the Mall to meet with the public, read selections of their work, and to promote our nation's libraries...For more information on the National Book Festival.
