Colleagues,

An elementary teacher has asked me to locate the source of an reading
correlation she once heard and would like to repeat to parents tomorrow
at our Back to School Night.  She heard once that there is a strong
correlation between the number of books read to a student and their
later school success.   She's unclear both about the number of books and
the age of the student (she thinks it was Kindergarten-age).
I have searched ERIC, LOC and multiple reading websites without success.
 

Any help out there?
