Me" and what about an entire movie series named after us, "The
Librarian."

Oh! I've got another. The baseball movie "Major League" (1982?) shows
Tom Berenger (a washed-up catcher) visiting an absolutely gorgeous
library to see his ex-girlfriend, "librarian" Rene Russo. When Tom asks
her to go out w/ him again, she replies, "Books are my life now." She
looked so sexy (as Rene always does) w/ her cool reading glasses and her
long skirt and over-sized sweater. I think that scene may have strongly
influenced my career choice!

What about Party Girl with Parker Posey???????????  Only the greatest
library movie out there!  Whimsical, flamboyant party girl realizes her
love for cataloging and processing books while working for her
disgruntled librarian aunt.  At one point she catalogues her DJ
roommate's record collection and creates subject, title, and artist
cards.  It's fantastic!

Remember the movie "City of Angels" with Nicolas Cage? The angles hung
out in the library when they weren't doing other jobs. Too bad that
