[CALIBK12] Attendance at Festival of Books

I attended; sat in the CSLA booth with two high school librarians Raj and ____________ (mother of a cute little girl!)-- so that Richard Moore could sneak away to hear Tommy Lasorda speak.  It was nice to connect with folks interested in books and libraries.  Forgive the memory lapse, my new friend: I also forgot where I parked the car and roamed the lots for 45 minutes!  Must have been the heat.  Next year Coachella?
p.s. the highlight of the day was browsing the manual Richard had on hand-- a snapshot of school library services from 1968...

I am learning that a number of our teachers here at Jordan High School went to the Festival of Books at UCLA this weekend.  I wonder how many school librarians went?  I saw about 6.  How about checking in and let me know?
