Hello All,

Still at the beach? Back in the office? Never got any time off this summer? (Bummer!) TICAL's resources can fill your sails and help you breeze through 2008-2009. Below are the latest resources:

*	On Radio TICAL <http://www.portical.org/podcasts> hear about one of our other Statewide Educational Technology Services (SETS) -EdTechProfile <http://www.portical.org/podcasts/?p=78> . When you think of EdTechProfile, you may think of the technology survey you and your staff take each year to assess technology use in your school and district. But EdTechProfile is more than surveys; it provides data and customized reports that can help you in your technology planning process.
*	Are you interested in Classroom Response Systems (aka "clickers") to help teachers quickly provide formative assessments? If so, take a look at this extensive bibliography of articles <http://portical.org/boolean_results.html?all=%22classroom+response+systems%22&limit=0> specifically related to clickers. The articles range from general practices to content specific practices and research.
*	Speaking of clickers, in the latest TBLOGICAL <http://www.portical.org/blog/> , Michael Simkins brings out the cynic in all of us in Clickers: Thumbs up or thumbs down? <http://www.portical.org/blog/?p=39>
*	Lastly, it's not too late to register for the "School Leadership Development: Building 21st Century Schools" workshop that takes place August 20-21 in Placentia-Yorba Linda USD. Get details here. <http://www.portical.org/sld>
