If programs are being promoted, then it needs to be said
that CSULB's librarianship program also provides for an
online option for the Teacher Librarian services
credential. This program, which was established in 1968,
offers both a credential and a Master's in Education,
Option in Librarianship. The program is NCATE-accredited,
and offers both F2F and online options at the same, low
price. The program's graduates are well placed in school
and public library settings, and many hold leadership
roles in professional organizations.
