Louis Sachar is the keynote speaker at this year's Children Literature Council of Southern California Fall Gala. The annual brunch will be held at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana on October 18, 2008, from 9 to 12. This annual event recognizes outstanding Southern California authors. This year's awards:
