?Take a vote. If you really don't care what goes on the walls in the end, let students decide.

If you do, take the reigns a bit. That's how I do things.

Be careful... you don't want paint on your books. You may want to decide to do this in your library when the place is not bustling with student activity. Only you can determine the best window(s) of time for such work.
