What a lucky happening for you. Your own ear in Sacramento. You sound like 
people who have a great relationship with her.

You are so on target with Good Ideas and School Libraries Work. Why not 
get her a paperback dictionary, thesaurus, and desk encyclopedia for the 
corner of a shelf, instantly available and a reminder that school 
librarians teach students how to research in reference books.
