[CALIBK12] Aeries software for the textbooks

We have Aeries, and regular bar code scanners work with it just fine.  However, I was not aware that Aeries could be used for textbook inventory and checkout; there is no such option in the way that our Aeries is configured.  We use it in combination with Textbook Tracker and Alexandria.

Does anybody know which Scanner will work with Aeries? Aeries itself
does not sell scanners. And also is it possible to convert textbook
database from Spectrum to Aeries. My school really wants to switch to
Aeries for the textbooks checkout. I can't even imagine to rebarcode
25000 textbooks.
