[CALIBK12] CSLA membership

The discussion revolved around what changes we would like to see in the organization.  We all worked in area groups and brainstormed on that topic.  No secrecy, just collaboration. The whole point of it was to help bring positive change that we (as members) desired. The notes were taken on large paper pads with the intent of pooling them. I got the sense that the organization is working to become more transparent in its dealings.
I have a great deal of respect for my colleagues who are allowing their memberships to elapse. I hope that they will rejoin at a later date; we need their expertise, experience, and strength.

	i missed the membership meeting at our conference in
sacramento......i understand folks discussed in small groups (of their
particular region).....will summaries be posted here of the various
group discussions?....i think this would help alleviate some of the
questions re: secrecy, etc. that have been popping up in our
dialogue.......
