Only 5 days are left to register for "Scary, Gross, & Enlightening:
Books for Boys," a workshop designed for K-12 library professionals,
paraprofessionals, and teachers. Presenter Deborah Ford will lead the
workshop, which includes her handout of the best books of 2007 for boys
and other reluctant readers.
When: Saturday, February 23 9-11 am (registration deadline: February
17)
Where: Golden Valley High School Library, 801 Hosking Avenue,
Bakersfield
How much: Free for CSLA members; $25 for nonmembers
