Which have you found are the best resources for determining which books to purchase in Spanish? While some purchases are easy (Harry Potter in English and Spanish), I mostly am at a loss as to what to do and where to go.
I should mention that many of my middle school students speak Spanish, but do not read Spanish. The number who venture over to our FL section is small and they tend to be newer to the U.S. I think this makes it even more important that I provide good choices (both because they need it and because the number of purchases will be small). They seem to want to read what others are reading in English. However, there is, I know, also so much good literature written only (or firstly) in Spanish.
So what do you do?
