[CALIBK12] Budgets and Teacher Librarians

For those of you in districts that are considering cutting teacher librarians in order to balance budgets, I would encourage you to let your CSLA region representatives know.

It may very well be that we can provide help (letters of support, bodies in a room, that sort of thing), but we have to know about it in order to help (and I say that knowing the two that I have seen announced here - Merced & Madera - are both in my region!). As we get further into budget season, the odds are good that this list may grow.
 
Even if  can't help with your particular situation, I think it is helpful to track this and determine what efforts are successful and what are not.
