I wanted to let you know about this presentation that will be in Fresno. It's called, "The Best Young Adult Books of the Last Decade and How to Use Them in Your Program." See:

It is for classroom teachers, literacy coaches, and teacher-librarians. My site is paying for our literacy coach, English department chair, and me to attend. Cost is $195 for an all-day program. Given what sounds like a renewed interest in teaching language arts through good literature, I think it is a good use of staff development funds.
