[CALIBK12] Question on PlayAways

The best solution I have found for problems like this is to tape the
battery covers shut. even scotch tape works better than nothing, but
there is also some very sticky, hard to tear tape out there - like the
tape they sell to hold mouse balls in. You could try the
ultra-aggressive glue label covers that Demco sells -they are great for
a lot of things.

Not so far, I have earphone loss, but I think I am going to handle that
by purchasing a supply from follett and charging a buck if they don't
own their own headphones.

The battery covers are not covered by the warrenty, but you might try
contacting the company that manufactures them directly
http://store.playawaydigital.com/ You can also call them between
9:00am and 5:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday at:
+1.440.893.0808
+1.877.893.0808

They might send you a couple free or for a small fee.

Then, might I suggest the old thumbscrew threat???....no I guess not.

Two have already been returned without the battery cover. Is anyone else
having trouble with students losing the battery covers? Any solutions?
