[CALIBK12] Title wanted

I am trying to remember the title/author of the story of 
the
foolish (simple) boy who follows his mother's advice
as to how to carry his daily wages.  For example -
when he dragged his wages of a roast he was told he
should havecarried it on his shoulders.  So the next day 
his wages
were a donkey - so he carried the donkey on his shoulders.

As the story goes - the kings daughter laughs and the
foolish boy wins her hand in marriage.
