For those of you who have been looking at the lists of award-winners today, you might be interested to know that Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! Voices from a Medieval Village won the Newberry Medal. The interesting point is that the author, Laura Amy Schlitz, is a librarian at Baltimore's Park School.
