[CALIBK12] A big thank you

Dear Friends,
Last week I posted a query asking you your thoughts on library schools. To
date, I have received 36 responses! Most of you suggested that the MLIS is
worth the extra time and money, and that an ALA approved program offers
the most flexibility if I ever want employment with a university or public
library. Some of you commented on specific programs, and I REALLY
appreciate that! Thank you SO MUCH for your input. What a wonderful
resource you all are, especially to the "newbies" like me.
Please keep posting on the subject, if you like. I had lots of comments
from people who are in the same boat with me.
I have compiled the responses in a Word doc, if anyone wants it.
