[CALIBK12] ALA Conference - Advocacy Institute, Book Cart Drill Team, etc.

Hi CALIBBERS,

I'm just trying to catch up after a wonderful and overwhelming  
experience at ALA in Anaheim. Two of the biggest highlights for me  
were the Advocacy Institute on Friday and participating with the  
"California Girls" in the Book Cart Drill Team event on Sunday. I  
promised to try to blog the ALA conference. I didn't manage to do that  
while it was in progress, but I have posted a summary now on my blog  
at http://janelibrary2.blogspot.com/. I have also posted a wiki page  
of notes I took at the Advocacy Institute at http://weloveschoollibraries.pbwiki.com/ALA-Advocacy-Institute 
. The "California Girls" are currently gathering photos and video  
recordings of the book cart drill team event, and we'll post more on  
that soon.
