[CALIBK12] visiting author program

[Holly Barrera]

Jeff Savage (jeffsavage.com) came to our elementary and middle schools in May. The students and staff all loved him. He was willing to do anything we wanted for the day--large assembly, classrooms, small student groups. Talks about his work as a journalist as well as a writer of nonfiction books. Lots of sports info. appeals especially to boys but he reels the girls in too. He responds quickly to email through his web site.
