[CALIBK12] Alexandria "bugs"

Hi all, some folks mentioned some problems with Alexandria. Most of the time
I find the tech folks VERY helpful and they walk me through any problems
quickly. We recently upgraded to the most current upgrade and when I went to
print out bill (lost/late books) for parents, I noticed that the students'
first and last names were run together. That seems to be the only definite
glitch and I contacted them this morning. They were surprised to see it, but
they did verify that it is a glitch (or bug) in their program, so I'm sure
it will be addressed in the next patch/upgrade.

 

I have had the system go down occasionally recently, but it was during
checkout/check-in. I have not had it happen during cataloging as one person
posted.  I have noticed that sometimes when scanning a patron barcode, the
system goes to a system patron (like number 6 or 7) rather than the student.
