[CALIBK12] Good News for Las Virgenes USD Teacher Librarians

Hi CALIBBERS,

Although our Board of Education in Las Virgenes USD won't officially  
vote until June 24, I'm happy to report that the two board members on  
the district finance committee asked our superintendent to take TLs  
OFF the cut list at their finance meeting yesterday. They found  
another item to cut instead. So, it's not official yet, but I am being  
told it's a done deal. Prior to this meeting, our superintendent had  
been recommending that the board cut three of the six TLs.

We clearly have a huge advocacy job ahead of us, but I'm definitely  
feeling happy today!
