Hi Folks,
I have some people who like to copy pages from a textbook. I told them
no. But they are claiming a few pages is ok for educational purposes.
They are educators creating training materials and want to reference
materials. We don't allow check-out of materials so they would have to
stay at our center or make copies.
What percentage is okay-I know for in class purposes there are very
specific rules.
What is the rule for this sort of thing.
Here is what the interested party told me:
"I see the issue, and we actually had a conversation on this very thing
yesterday. I'll come over and chat with you soon - there are allowed
uses for single copies (versus making copies for classrooms)."
